Pre diabetes Symptoms : Don’t Ignore It Before It’s Too Late

In many cases, pre diabetes has no symptoms. However, there are a few warning signs to be aware of. They include repeated urination, extreme thirst, intense hunger, curious weight loss, increased tiredness, bad temper, skin rashes, and blurred vision, sores that heal slowly or frequent infections.

Pre diabetes is basically a warning sign that you are on the verge of potentially developing diabetes. This means that your blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes and not high enough to be treated.

The good news is that you can avoid full blown diabetes by switching over to a positive lifestyle changes and by getting plenty of exercise. Doing this can help you avoid the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Here simple tips to prevent pre diabetes by making a few lifestyle changes.

*Get support from friends and family. Their help is most important in your fight with pre diabetes; call friends and family to let them know you want to make a lifestyle change.

*Control your meal portion. Start eating when you are truly hungry and stop eating when you feel satisfied. You can drink a glass of water 10 minutes before eating to take the edge of your appetite so you don’t overindulge in food. When you have a dinner, stop eating at least two to three hours before your regular bedtime.

*Eat the right foods if you have pre diabetes. Don’t consume foods that contains simple carbohydrates, any trans fats, high calories and excess sugar. Eat plenty of high-fiber vegetables and fruits, fresh fish, baked chicken, complex carbohydrates (such as  brown rice, whole grains), dried beans and lentils. Drink lots of water and nonfat dairy. Do not drink sodas and beverages that contains excessive sugar.

*Do a little more exercise regularly. You do not need to do hard exercise. Find what is fun and convenient for you. You can walk inside the mall or around your house, walk up the stairs instead of taking the lift or an escalator, clean the house, try to run errands on foot.

You must completely commit to the changes mentioned, going above and beyond the bare minimum exercise and diet recommendations. With this way, surely you can prevent the risk of developing into type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

Consuming Fish Oil To Help Your Blood Pressure Is One of the Smartest Things You Can Do

Let me assure you suffering from high blood pressure and cholesterol is no fun at all — I have been taking medication for both of these problems for many years.

It is probably too late for me to get off them now, however changing to a superior brand of fish oil supplements 6 months ago has helped reduce both my blood pressure and cholesterol level a little bit.

It is pretty much beyond doubt omega-3 DHA and EPA fatty acids benefit your body and mind in many ways.

None more so than by helping to improve arterial health by reducing triglycerides and balancing HDL and LDL cholesterol better. Naturally having an improved blood flow reduces our risk of getting blood clots from clogged arteries that can result in a heart attack or stroke.

Arguably the best way to get more fish oil in your diet is to eat oily fish 2 to 3 times a week.

Unfortunately this solution usually turns out to be easier said than done, we start out with good intentions of buying fresh fish each week but often don’t get around to it. Then of course there is the cost issue… 30 years ago fish was cheap to buy — but those days are long gone.

For many years now I have been taking fish oil supplements daily. However it’s only been in the last six months that I realized buying the cheapest ones, and not fully understanding the real issues has meant that I haven’t been getting the most benefits from taking them — which I should have got.

When I became interested in researching fish oil supplements I soon realized the amount of fatty acids in each soft gel is the most important ingredient. Also it became apparent that having almost double the amount of DHA to EPA omega-3 fatty acid ratio was equally as important.

Seriously think about consuming more fish oil, based on the hundreds of scientific and clinical tests conducted over the last few years, it’s pretty much beyond doubt omega-3 fatty acids are very beneficial in helping to control and improve both your blood pressure and cholesterol balance.
